What I Know...

Alright, seeing that I got a good source, and Macworld's coming soon, I'm gonna cut to the chase. Details on what's coming soon have been scarce on the rumor scene. The reason: the sources are scared, and the sites are scarder. However, with the scarce details I've left about myself on the page, I'm free to step across those boundaries, and leave it all out in the open. No holding back, none of that. I'm gonna say it as it is. Here's what I've heard is coming...

NOTE: Not all items are at Macworld: But all are by the end of February.

Mac:
Similar to "The Beat Goes On", every mac will receive an update, some major, some minor, with a new addition to the lineup.

Macbook: Half as thin, Half as Light optical drive stays, flash memory, 13.3 inch screen flush to edges. LED Display. Multi-touch Capabilities. Definitely Aluminum and Black, possibly different colors. No White.

Macbook Pro: Half as thin, Half as light, Flush Edges, LED Display. Potentially Penryn. Aluminum. Multi-touch Capabilities

Mac Pro: Much Smaller case... more portable. Penryn inside, with massive customization options. Blu-Ray Option (Possibly HD-DVD as well).

iMac: Spec Increase: No indication from source about multi-touch, but it looks as though the entire line will see it.

Macbook Mini: A new model separate from the rest. 12 inch screen, flash memory, no optical drive, possibly even thinner than the ports themselves. Multitouch capabilities . Priced very low... big emphasis on this at keynote.

Mac Mini: Discontinued.

Displays: 20 inch model with be dropped. New sizes will be 24 inch, 30 inch, and 36 inch. Multitouch on all models for same price as previous models.

NOTE: Steve and Co. have decided that multi-touch will work on the mac. The success of the iPhone determined that: they're working to get everything perfect. Expect a major multitouch announcement at Macworld.

So that's what's up with the Mac. Next Product: iTunes

Movie Rentals are coming, hopefully by Macworld. Apple is ready, they're waiting on the studios to agree. Similar to the Beatles, as explained by Jobs himself. It will have two forms... individual downloads priced at 2.49 for 15 days, and a Netflix style subscription model in which you purchase a number of "slots" per month, and as soon as you return a title, you get a new one. Pricing from 9.99-19.99 a month. TV Shows will run from 0-.99 cents, with one or two ads in between. NBC may return for this model, but not the other.

iPhone: More info on SDK w/ demo applications. Possibly even an introduction of the next model, or just an increase in memory (16 GB).
NOTE: Model may be immediately available, but probably will not be until the SDK. With the SDK in February will come a massive software update with the following...
-iChat
-Full Finder w/Cover Flow
-Bonjour
-MMS
-Video Camera w/upload to Youtube
-Flash
-Stabilization on Camera
-Copy Paste
-Note Syncing
-Rotating in all apps
-Games available
-Spotlight
-iWork Mobile
-Note Syncing
-Voice Memo
-Disk Mode
-To Do

It'll be big...

iPods: Possibly storage increases, probably not until later. Shuffle will be revised, but probably not at Macworld... probably end of February.

Apple TV:
Complete Renovation is coming: That's all I know now. More on this as soon as I find out.

Enjoy... come and get me Apple! If you know who I am...
